Green Dragon Haddenham Maintains Top Award For Ale Quality

Rupert Hill, General Manager, of the popular Haddenham pub the Green Dragon is celebrating again after achieving 100% for all three of his real ales in a recent Cask Marque assessment.

The Green Dragon’s award runs until the end of 2010 confirming the high standard of ale served there - the only pub in Haddenham to currently hold this award.

Rupert says, “We’re really proud of this award which confirms the quality of our real ale.  A lot of our customers visit this pub just for the cask ale and it is really good to know that we are getting it spot on.  This award recognises the effort that we put into serving the perfect pint and also acts as an independent guarantee of quality for our customers.”

Backed by 34 of the country’s leading brewers and pub companies, Cask Marque’s independent accreditation is only awarded to licensees whose ale passes a series of rigorous independent beer quality audits.  Ales are checked for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.
