The Green Dragon, 8 Churchway, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8AA

Telephone: 01844 291403

The Green Dragon is found at 8 Churchway in the village of Haddenham. Close to the church of St Mary, the village pond and war memorial.

The village is served by Haddenham & Thame Parkway railway station and the Arriva bus service between Aylesbury and Oxford (route number 280) passes by our front door and stops just 50 yards away.

From Aylesbury, travel south west on the A418 Oxford Road passing Stone, Upton and Dinton. After about 7 miles you will see a left hand turn sign-posted for Haddenham, this is Churchway. Drive down this road for about a mile and we’re at the far end.

From Thame, follow the signs for Haddenham & Thame railway station on Thame Road. Drive passed the station (on your left hand side) and continue until you reach a parade of shops. Just after the shops is a mini roundabout – turn right here into Churchway and continue for about half a mile. As you pass the bend just before you see the church, we’ll be on your left.

From Princes Risborough, head towards Longwick on the A4129 Thame Road. About two miles after you leave Longwick is a right hand turn for Haddenham. Follow this road passed Aston Sandford until you reach a T-junction, turn right over a hump-backed bridge into Stanbridge Road. A few hundred yards on the left is a turning for Haddenham (Church End), go left here and continue until you reach the church and duck pond. Take a right hand turn into Churchway and you should see us in front of you.
